He awakens my ear morning by morning!

Adonay Yahweh will teach me what to say, so I will know how to encourage weary people; morning by morning, he will wake me like a student. Isaiah 50:4 (NOG)

We are going on a spiritual journey into the mysteries of God. Let me share a dream I received at the end of December last year. In the dream, I watched myself float in the air in front of this house. I kept hearing myself say, "He awakens my ear morning by morning." The dream ended.

We should always open our spiritual eyes and ears to Yahweh's ways and mysteries. One of the mysteries in Christ that I am beginning to learn about is the living letters of the Hebrew alphabet. In the book. "Friends of Eber" by Aaron Smith. Aaron and his team write a reference guide to the living letters of the Hebrew alphabet.

I will focus on two of the living letters: Dalet and Lamed.

The Letter Dalet:

I am grateful to the Spirit of Wisdom for revealing the importance of the living letter Dalet. One of our roles is being a priest unto the Holy Spirit in His temple, our bodies. 1 Corinthians 6:19.

Dalet is a door, a pathway, a gate, a portal to realms, dimensions, dreams, and visions; it is always listening for the supply of Heaven.

It's interesting about Dalet being a pathway, a gate, or a portal to the realms into Heaven. One of the many ways that Yahweh speaks to us is through dreams and visions. Acts 2:17-21, Numbers 12:6. The fantastic thing is that Jesus wants us to come up higher and deeper into the realms of the Kingdom of God.

Now let us focus on the Hebrew letter Lamed:

Lamed is to learn and teach with a heart that understands actual knowledge, to call into action. We want Yahweh to teach us His ways. The Seven Spirits of God will help us understand God's ways and train and teach us the new things Yahweh intends to reveal to our hearts. Remember, Jesus only did what he heard and saw our Father doing. John 5:19-20

Lamed represents teaching through the experience of the unseen realm as well as the natural realm. We need to be able to learn and receive from both.

16 Therefore, we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, the inward man is renewed daily. 17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, 18 while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal. 2 Corinthians 4:16-18

I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with my eye. Psalm 32:8

Call to Me, and I will answer you and show you great and mighty things which you do not know. Jeremiah 33:3

Finally, it is crucial to understand Yahweh's love for us. He wants to share his secrets, not hide them from us because it creates a spiritual hunger in our hearts to pursue a relationship with the Godhead. They want to call after us in the cool of the day, which is usually the morning!

Driving Home!

It is the glory of God to conceal a matter,

But the glory of kings is to search out a matter. Proverbs 25:2

Driving home from picking our son up from school, I noticed that things had changed around the area that I lived in. New houses are being built daily. The village's landscape is changing to accommodate more traffic created. Driving towards the RAF base, I realised how much the base had changed. At least the town I live in is familiar to me. It always seems to stay the same!

The same is said about our Christian journey. We like things to be the same. It brings comfort and reassurance of being safe and sound. However, it is time for new things to come from the Holy Spirit.

I love when the seasons change! It brings a sense that new beginnings are going to emerge. You feel the shift in atmosphere as summer changes into fall. The kids go back to school from their summer break. The temperature gets more relaxed as the night increases and the daytime decreases.

I believe that as in the natural, so in the spiritual. 1 Corinthians 15:46-49. We are starting to move into the new and profound things of the Kingdom of God. We are learning new mysteries from the Godhead that will transform into their image and likeness through love and relationship.

Are we ready for a change?

We have to count the cost of moving into the new things of the spirit. It will be challenging because we are so used to how things are in our Christian walk at times. The Holy Spirit wants to release spiritual hunger in our palate for fresh revelation to come into our hearts and minds. It takes determination to buck the trend of familiarity.

Are we ready for a change? I sure hope so! You see, this change is about maturing in Christ! We can't stay babies forever. It's time to grow up! Hebrews 5:14.

Therefore, leaving the discussion of the elementary principles of Christ, let us go on to [a]perfection, not laying the foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God, 2 of the doctrine of baptisms, of laying on of hands, of the resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment again. 3 And this [b]we will do if God permits. Hebrews 6:1-3.

We want to enter into the mysteries YVHV intends to release through Christ, but we must trust what he will show us. He will show us new and profound insights that we have never seen before. These insights were hidden before the foundation of the world. We have to make a choice to want to leave the elementary principles of Christ. We need the courage to move on into the new, captivated by what God reveals through His word in our hearts and minds.

As with my drive home, I'm receiving the upgrades from the Holy Spirit about the new things in the Kingdom of God that he is revealing to me, which are life-changing, challenging and exciting. It is changing my perspective on how we minister to the Godhead as kings and priests. Rev. 1:5-6

Dreams, Dreams, and more dreams. Part 2!

'And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God,

That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh.
Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,
Your young men shall see visions,
Your old men shall dream dreams. Acts 2:17

According to the above bible verse, God has made it clear that the plan is to pour out the His Spirit. The outpouring of the Holy Spirit will result in more visions and dreams for all mankind!

Let's look at two men in the bible who were dreamers and understood their dreams. The first one is Joesph, and the second one is Mary's husband Joseph. The first Joseph is in the Old Testament and the second Joseph is in the New Testament. Each one was used by God to interpret dreams for themselves and for others.

Let's start with the first Joseph. As a young man, the Spirit of God revealed his purposes for Joseph through his dreams. Here is a sample of his dream:

Joseph had a dream, and when he told it to his brothers, they hated him all the more. He told them, "Listen to this dream I had: We were binding sheaves of grain out in the field when suddenly my sheaf rose and stood upright while your sheaves gathered around mine and bowed down to it." His brothers asked him, "Do you intend to reign over us? Will you actually rule us?" And they hated him all the more because of his dream and what he had said.

Then he had another dream, and he told it to his brothers. "Listen," he said, "I had another dream, and this time the sun and moon and eleven stars were bowing down to me."

When he told his father and brothers, his father rebuked him and said, "What is this dream you had? Will your mother and I and your brothers actually come and bow down to the ground before you?" His brothers were jealous of him, but his father kept the matter in mind. Genesis 37: 5-11.

Principles of Dream Interpretation!

Here are some principles of interpreting Joseph's childhood dream to help us understand our dreams. I want to thank Mark Virkler and Charity Virkler Kayembe for the excellent book, "Hearing God Through Your Dreams"I will use their approach into understanding Joseph's dream and how it can help us gain insights into our dreams.

Joseph’s Childhood Dreams (Genesis 37:1-11) Answers by Mark Virkler.

vs. 6 Do you believe Joseph showed indiscretion in sharing his dream? Yes, I believe so.

What lesson is in this, concerning sharing our dreams? We should be sensitive to the proper people and time when we share our dreams.

vss. 7-9 Note what each of the following items in Joseph’s dream represent:

Joseph’s sheaf = Joseph

Brother’s sheaf = brothers

Sun = father

Moon = mother

Bowing down = bowing down

Eleven stars = 11 brothers

Is the language literal, symbolic or both? mostly symbolic

vss. 8,10,11 What is the response? Hatred, rebuke, and jealousy comes from the brothers, His father, however kept the sayings in mind.

This negative response may be another indicator that Joseph shared his dreams with indiscretion. Gen. 42:6-9 Note the accuracy of the interpreted dream. Years later his brothers did bow down before him.

What truths concerning dreams and visions have you discovered from the answers you have given? Are there additional insights? God spoke through dreams, using mostly symbolism mixed with a bit of literality. Discretion should be exercised when sharing dreams. It may take years before dreams are fulfilled.

Now let's us look at a dream from Mary's husband Joseph.

Joseph’s Dream (Matthew 1:20-25)

Notice that the background to this dream experience is that Joseph is considering how to resolve a problem in his life.

vs. 20 Who appeared to him in a dream? An angel of the Lord.

vss. 20-23 What does the angel do? Delivers a message to him.

vs. 24 What is Joseph’s response to the dream? He got up and did what the angel of the Lord commanded.

What truths concerning dreams and visions have you discovered from the answers you have given? Are there additional insights?  An angel can speak to us in our dreams and give us instruction for solving life's problems. We are to act upon the instruction.

A great tool I use to work on my dreams is an app called Dream Keys by Leo and Charity Kayembe. Charity teaches a dream interpretation technique called DAESI. DAESI method is to record the Dream, Action, Emotion, Setting, and Interpretation. When we receive a dream from the Holy Spirit write down. In the dream, what was I doing? (Running from something? Hiding? Fighting?) That is the key action. In the dream, how was I feeling? (Scared? Angry? Joyful?) That is the key emotion. In our waking life, what issues is my heart processing? (What was I thinking about when I went to bed and praying for as I fell asleep?) That is the waking world setting. In the interpretation of the dream, we match up the dream's action and emotion with similar actions and emotions in our waking life which show us what area of our life the dream is speaking to, and we journal out God's message to us through the dream.

Receiving Wisdom from God!

For the Lord gives wisdom; From His mouth come knowledge and understanding; He stores up sound wisdom for the upright.
He is a shield to those who walk uprightly; He guards the paths of justice and preserves the way of His saints. Then you will understand righteousness, justice, Equity, and every good path. Proverbs 2: 6-9

Boy, we are witnessing a time of destruction and deception. The Bible calls this time gross darkness according to Isaiah 60 verses 1-3. We see so much destruction and deception in the world that it's time to step up and be what God has called us to be. We are not enslaved to the gross darkness but to God's freedom in manifesting His light in us to the world. Once we start stepping into the divine purpose that God put into our hearts to accomplish his will and goal, we will see people drawn to that light. We're living in the time the prophets prophesied, particularly the Prophet Isaiah, concerning our day. Is it time for us to wake up and let our light shine in the areas we are called to so people can come to that light. God is releasing such great revelation of insight into mountains of influence that we can turn the hearts of the people in each nation back to God.

Jesus gave us a command to disciple the nations. This mandate is happening right now if we choose to accept it and not live in fear of what people will say about us as believers in Christ.

The Fear of Man!

We must trust what the Holy Spirit says to us in this hour. We are God's workmanship created in Christ Jesus unto Good works that God has prepared for us in advance. Ephesians 2:10. I believe the fear of man, or the fear of people's opinions can stop the promises of God from manifesting in our lives. The fact is that this happens a lot in people's lives. Fear stops us in our tracks! We must let the light of Christ manifest in us and over us, overcoming fear. The Bible tells us not to lose confidence and shrink during challenging times. Hebrews 10:32-39

As we face challenging times, we must step into God's wisdom. All we have to do is ask! I want to receive revelation from the Holy Spirit. Father God wants us to walk in divine wisdom to help us understand and discern the times we live in today. Remember, Jesus always relied on the Father's directives. He only did the things that he heard and saw the Father doing. John 5:19-20. We can live the same way, only doing what God has called us to do.

Dreams, Visions, and more Dreams!

For God may speak in one way or in another,

Yet man does not perceive it.
15
In a dream, in a vision of the night,
When deep sleep falls upon men,
While slumbering on their beds,
16
Then He opens the ears of men,
And seals their instruction. Job 33:14-16

The Holy Spirit has communicated with me for many years through visions and dreams. Dreams are one of the ways that the Holy Spirit reveals his truth to us. I enjoy my dreams for this reason. I want to receive God's truth unfiltered. Dreams give us our instructions so that we do not lean on our own understanding of the plans and purposes of God. Proverbs 3:5-8, Jeremiah 33:3.

God's Truth Unfiltered

In order to turn man from his deed,
And conceal pride from man,

He keeps back his soul from the Pit,
And his life from [c]perishing by the sword.
Job 33:17-18

I realised a long time ago the importance of dreams in my life. The Holy Spirit bypasses the arguer in our hearts using dreams and visions. Acts 10:10-16. The dream is designed to speak to our souls at night through our spirits so that the Holy Spirit can seal our instructions. It is a way for God to talk to us about significant issues in our hearts that fight against the plans and purposes of God in our lives. Fortunately, we have many examples of dreams in the bible to look at and learn how God has communicated to His people. I would suggest doing a bible study on the topic of dreams. You will be surprised by what you know about this subject.

In the meantime, here are some practical tools to help you to recall your dreams consistently.
  1. Say to yourself, I believe dreams contain a valid message
  2. Ask God to speak to you through dreams as you fall asleep.
  3. Put a journal next to your bed.
  4. Get 8 hours of sleep. (I receive dreams during nap times as well).
  5. Awaken naturally, without the use of an alarm clock.
By doing these five practical steps, we are letting God know that we are ready to receive His counsel at night, or anytime we fall asleep. In my next blog, I'll explore the principles of dream interpretation that I use to interpret dreams. Always rely on the Holy Spirit to help us interpret our dreams and visions.

15 And Pharaoh said to Joseph, "I have had a dream, and there is no one who can interpret it. But I have heard it said of you that you can understand a dream, to interpret it." 16 So Joseph answered Pharaoh, saying, "It is not in me; God will give Pharaoh an answer of peace." Genesis 41:15-16

Hearing God on behalf of the World!

Hearing you will hear and shall not understand and seeing you will see and not perceive; 15 For the hearts of this people have grown dull. Their ears are hard of hearing, and their eyes they have closed, lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, lest they should understand with their hearts and turn so that I [b]should heal them.’ 16 But blessed are your eyes for seeing and your ears for hearing. Matt 13:14-16

Today, I was reminded by the Lord that we are called to disciple the nations for the glory of the Lord. God so loved the world that he gave His son Jesus as the ultimate price to redeem the world to himself. We have the ministry of reconciliation. Because of God’s heart to be reconciled to His creation, the body of Christ is called to speak into the heart of the nations.

For us to speak to the nations we must hear from the Holy Spirit. Our relationship with the Holy Spirit is so important in the times we are living in today. God is releasing mystery after mystery about what heaven is preparing for us now. Some of these mysteries are revealing what is going on in the hearts of man. Enoch was giving insight into plans of heaven and into the hearts of man. In Jude verses 14-16, It states:

Now Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied about these men also, saying, “Behold, the Lord comes with ten thousand of His saints, 15 to execute judgment on all, to convict all who are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have committed in an ungodly way, and of all the harsh things which ungodly sinners have spoken against Him. 16 These are grumblers, complainers, walking according to their own lusts; and they mouth great swelling words, flattering people to gain advantage.

We are seeing this passage of scripture play out in the world today. It’s incredible to witness the passage of scripture playout in our day. With so much corruption going on in the world, it's no wonder the Holy Spirit has begun to open the eyes and ears of believers and non-believers alike.

Jesus spoke about having eyes to see and ears to hear so we can be healed. Matt 13:14-15. We must have spiritual hunger to hear from the Lord. Through our relationship with the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, the Godhead wants to take us into new levels of heavenly encounters so that we can learn to the ways of God.

I recently had a vision of a bright star moving eastward. The vision is a revelation from the Lord that speaks about the dominion of God being released on the earth. Matt 6:9-13. Get ready for fresh encounters with Holy Spirit in 2023!

16 “I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you these things in the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, the Bright and Morning Star.” 17 And the Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let him who hears say, “Come!” And let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely. Rev 22:16-17

Heavenly Mindedness

If you were raised with Christ, seek those things above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is our life appears, you will also appear with Him in glory. Colossians 3:1-4

Let this mind be in you as it is in Christ Jesus. What a remarkable passage of scripture! To me, the scripture speaks of experiencing what Jesus mediates daily. Psalm 139:17 says it states, "How precious to me are Your thoughts, O God! How vast is the sum of them! If I would count them, they are more than the sand."

Hearing God's Voice

Let's go on a little adventure into the thoughts of God. First, how do we receive the His thoughts? Here are four keys that will help in hearing God's voice.

1. We quiet ourselves down. Psalm 46:10. Be still and know that I am God! Coming into a posture of rest. Relax, put your feet up, turn on some soft music and chill out with the Holy Spirit.

2. Close your eyes and ask the Holy Spirit for vision. Hebrews 12:2 states to look at Jesus, the author and protector of your faith. As new creations in Christ, we have spiritual eyes to be able to receive dreams or visions that Jesus wants us to have. Ask papa to open the eyes of your heart so receive vision as you pray. Ephesians 1:17-18

3. Recognise God's voice as spontaneous thoughts that light upon your mind. God's voice (Rhema) is sensed as a spontaneous thought, idea, word, feeling or vision. As with the first two keys, we must learn to communion with Papa, Jesus, and Holy Spirit to sense the ways of the Godhead. 2 Corinthians 13:14, Zechariah 3:7.

4. Journal (Write) down what you are receiving from the Lord by faith! God will cause your journal to naturally focus on faith, hope and love (1 Corinthians 13:13).

The information above about hearing God's voice is just a small summary of the key points of hearing God's voice every day in your life! If you want to dive deeper into the four keys, visit our website at www.hearinggodsvoiceuk.net.

OVERCOMING FEAR

Overcoming Fear and Growing into Courage and Boldness Foundation Scriptures: Joshua 1:6–9; 2 Timothy 1:7; 1 John 4:18–19; Hebrews 2:16–19...
